Hi friends! Jimmy here, a Florida native, born and raised in Melbourne on Florida’s east Coast. I consider myself an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking (completed my first “fourteener” in 2018), traveling adventures, and maintaining a beautiful landscape at our home, Chateau Shimmy. During my Senior year in high school, I took a summer job with Publix Supermarkets©. While beginning college, I quickly advanced into management. That summer job turned into a 17-year career in Customer Service Management. In 2016, Shawn and I decided it was time to do something different. By different, we mean leaving our established careers at the same time to take a leap of faith. Both coming from a corporate and service background we knew what it took to provide top-notch customer service but more importantly establishing long-lasting relationships. I always dreamed of owning a business that creates a culture that’s inclusive, where everyone is treated fairly and is made to feel like family. That’s where real estate came in, I thought back to the feeling I had when purchasing my first home with Shawn in 2009. Everyone has their own version of what “home” is to them, what better way to have a lasting impact on someone than to be a part of them finding theirs. That’s where the vision of our business began and how it turned into what it is today, The Central Florida Home Boys. We’ve been able to help hundreds of families over the past 5 years and I truly believe that creating meaningful relationships is what's propelled the success of our dream to become a reality.
